Chester Wayne Boston, 44, Greensburg, KY (1978-2022)

Chester Wayne Boston of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home. He was 44 years old.

The funeral services for Mr. Chester Wayne Boston will be conducted at NoonCT on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Casey Durrett and Bro. James Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bowles Cemetery in Metcalfe County.

Visitation will be held after 10amCT on Saturday until time of the service.


Mr. Chester Wayne Boston, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Irene Estes Boston of Greensburg and the late Mr. Jackie Neal Boston, was born on Tuesday, May 30, 1978 in Taylor County.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He also volunteered at the food pantry in his free time.

Besides his mother, he is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law: William Underwood of Greenburg, James Underwood of Campbellsville, Terry & Syrena Boston of Knifley, and Brian & Misty Boston of Danville; four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Elizabeth Thomas of Campbellsville, Sandy & Charles Greer of Columbia, Betsy Harris & her fiance' Jeff Greer of Knifely, and Maggie & Michael Chumbley of Russell Springs; and host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He had two dogs that were his best companions: Gidgett & Roscoe.

Mr. Boston was also preceded in death by a sister: Birdie Beatrice Boston.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
