Martin Scott Fillippinie, 57, Russell County, KY

Martin Scott Fillippinie, of Russell Springs, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Russell County Hospital. He was 57 years of age.

Born on September 26, 1964, in Somerset, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Arthur Lee and Jenny Holder Fillippinie. Scott was a former factory worker. He loved listening to music and playing the guitar. Scott also enjoyed riding around in his car and going out to eat with his mother. Scott was of the Pentecostal faith.



Scott is survived by his mother, Jenny Holder Fillippinie of Russell Springs; his niece, Angel (and Jaceen) Crouch of Indiana; his nephew, Jason Fillippinie of Indiana; and a host of aunts, uncles, and friends.

In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Craig Fillippinie.

Funeral services are 1pmCT Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Billy Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11 until time of service.
