Popplewell, Golden Rule-Wilson take home KAA awards

This year's Kentucky Auctioneer's Association Annual Convention was held in Lexington, KY, on the weekend of January 22, 2022. Alex Popplewell, a Russell County native, competed and won the 2022 Ringman Championship. A good ringman helps the auction run smoothly by exemplifying the person's communication skills, salesmanship, and overall knowledge of the auction process. Alex works local and regional cattle markets and is also an Auctioneer with Golden Rule - Wilson Real Estate & Auction.

Golden Rule-Wilson also brought home two state marketing competition awards including: (1) Best Television Advertising (2) Best B &W Magazine Advertising.

The company said they are excited to receive these state awards, and they work hard to give each sale a high priority in advertising and marketing. Golden Rule-Wilson has offices in both Columbia and Russell Springs and serve all surrounding counties.
