Randell Campbell, 57, Adair Co., KY native (1964-2022)

Randell Campbell of Campbellsville, formerly of the Sparksville community, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the home of his brother. He was 57 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, January 10, 2022, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Thomas Metcalfe officiating. Burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 5pmCT on Sunday.


He was born June 9, 1964, in Adair County, to the late Thomas Hynes and Mattie Pearl McKinney Campbell, and formerly worked in the oil fields.

Survivors include:
  • His wife - Rita Ashbrook Campbell of Russell Springs
  • Two sons - Christopher Wayne Russell of Russell Springs, Douglas Bunch of Columbia
  • Two daughters - Delila Foley and Amber Hernandez both of Russell Springs
  • Two brothers - Phillip Campbell and Thomas Campbell both of Columbia
  • Three sisters - Charlotte Bowerman of New Albany, Indiana, Sonya Campbell of Campbellsville, Tonya Helton of Elizabethtown
  • 16 grandchildren, including a special grandchild, Carlos Gomez
  • Several other relatives and friends
