Bob Roach, 82, Metcalfe County, KY (1939-2022) Robert Garnett "Bob" Roach, 82, of Edmonton passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home in Edmonton. He was born February 20, 1939 to Olie and Marene Wilson Roach. His hobbies included wood working and farming. Bob loved his family and always had a warm smile for anyone who came around him. He was retired from SCRTC in Glasgow after many years of service. He was a member of the Prices Creek Baptist Church where he enjoyed leading singing. He is survived by his wife Mildred Poulter Roach whom he wed August 4, 1962. They were just a few months from celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. He is survived by two sons, Scott "Scotty" Roach and wife Charlotte of Edmonton and Shawn Roach of Knob Lick. Two grandsons. Andrew Roach and finance Abigail of Lexington. Aaron Poynter and wife Sara of Russell Springs. One great granddaughter Reese Poynter. A brother in law Roscoe "Buddy" Poulter of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Russell Roach, John Ben Roach, Paul "Pete" Roach, Truman Roach, Herbert Maxey Roach, Creo Dickson, Maxine Bragg and Bertha Marie Roach. Two grandchildren. Gregory Scott and Luke Daniel Roach. Funeral services for Bob Roach will be held 1pmCT Saturday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Bragg Cemetery.
