400-mile yard sale coming our way June 2 through 5 If you live on the highway between Columbia and Edmonton, you may have heavy yard sale traffic opportunities when it's time for the upcoming second annual 400-mile Highway 68/80 yard sale. Just after the Memorial Day holiday, the yard sale begins on June second and continues through June fifth. US Highway 68/80 stretches from western Kentucky, Paducah, to the Y in Edmonton where it 'officially' departs from 80, however many explorers may want to continue east through Columbia toward the lake, so it may be a great time for selling. For a handy map, you can visit http://www.10000trails.com/hwy68-80/statemap.html The sale is being promoted by the Heritage Corridor Initiative. To see their website for more information you can go to: www.10000trails.com/hwy68-80/sale Courtesy of the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce. This story was posted on 2005-05-25 14:45:49
