Mary Layne Jackson, 73, Green County, KY (1948-2021) Mary Layne Jackson of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Bryant King and Beulah White King, was born on Saturday, March 27, 1948 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, November 11, 2021. She was 73 years, 7 months, and 15 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She united in marriage to Scott Jackson who preceded her in death on February 14, 2003. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Eva and Jeff Milby of Greensburg, Missy and Tommy Sandefur of Louisville; a son and daughter-in-law: Robert Dale and Denise Buckner of Indiana; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Brinley and Kathy King of Greenville, and Benny King of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Per Mrs. Jackson's request, cremation was chosen. No formal services or visitation at this time. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg, Kentucky in charge of the arrangements.
