Basketball: LWC Women welcome Berea for home opener

The No. 16-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team will welcome Berea (KY) in their home opener on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The match is set to tip-off at 4pmCT in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

The Blue Raiders enter the match after defeating IU Southeast (IN) 83-67 on the road in the season opener.


Bree Glover had an impressive game leading the Blue Raiders with 18 points while Maleigha Oldham led the team with 11 rebounds. Glover, Oldham, Amerah Steele and, Sydnie Hall all registered double-digits in scoring to open the season.

Berea enters the match after going 25-4 last season. Tomorrow's match is the season opener for the Mountaineers.

Tomorrow's meeting will mark the 18th time the two programs have met with the Blue Raiders holding a 14-3 advantage over the Mountaineers. Lindsey Wilson is unbeaten in the previous two meetings against Berea and won the previous match in 2019, 72-53.
