Cross Country: LWC to compete in MSC Championship

By Kyle Jackson

The Lindsey Wilson men and women's cross-country teams are set to compete in the Mid-South Conference Championships at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green (KY) Friday afternoon.

The women's 5,000-meter race is set to start at NoonCT while the men's 8,000-meter race begins at 1pmCT.

Last year the men's team finished in third place overall with Levi Owens leading the way finishing fifth overall individually while the women's team finished in fourth place with Meredith Johnson finishing at ninth overall individually.

The top 20 scoring individuals in each race will earn all-conference honors with the top finisher earning the conference's runner of the year award.

Results will be available on the conference website at the conclusion of each race.
