Volleyball: LWC to play final home match of regular season

The No. 21-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team will play their final home match of the 2021 regular season on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, when they host Freed-Hardeman (TN). First serve is set for 6pmCT at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY.

The Blue Raiders (18-5, 10-3 MSC) enter the match looking to bounce back after a tough loss to No. 12-ranked Life (GA).


This season, Lindsey Wilson is hitting .274 - the seventh-best mark in the NAIA - while Radaisy Valdez continues to lead the NAIA in hitting percentage at .463.

Freed-Hardeman (8-16, 1-12 MSC) enters tomorrow's game after defeating Central Baptist (AR) in a 3-0 sweep on October 23rd. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Lions.

This season the Lions are hitting .145 while averaging 11.35 kills per set. Kacey Donegan leads the side in kills per set averaging 3.56 with Allie Humphry leading the team in assists per set with 8.89. Defensively, Emma Campbell leads the team in digs per set averaging 4.09.

This will be the 6th all-time meeting between these two programs with the Blue Raiders leading the all-time series 4-1. Lindsey Wilson won the reverse fixture this season away from home on September 28th in four sets.
