Cross-Country: LWC results from NAIA Great Lakes Challenge

Grand Rapids, MI - The Lindsey Wilson women's cross-country team finished in second place in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on Saturday morning. The Blue Raiders finished with a score of 153 and an average time of nine-teen minutes and fifty-four seconds.

The Lindsey Wilson men's cross-country team finished in fifteenth place in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. The Blue Raiders finished with a score of 450 and an average time of twenty-six minutes and thirteen seconds.


For the women's team, Meredith Johnson placed 6th overall with a time of 19:10.0.

Other notable finishes were Alyssa Sharp placing 24th (19:45.5), Kayla Roeder in 25th (19:47.7), Macey Wilson finishing in 45th (20:20.4), Olivia Rudder finishing 53rd (20:26.5), Lotte Gertler in 58th (20:30.8), and Kaylee Masden placing 63rd (20:39.7).

For the men's team, Mike Schonter placed 50th with a time of 25:40.1.

Other notable finishes were Levi Owens placing 54th (25:47.8), Jim Headrick in 89th (26:12.8), Nolan Foushee finishing in 127th (26:41.15), Jordan Tucker finishing 130th (26:44), Justin Stearns in 136th (26:58.8), and Nicholas Cummings placing 175th (28:22).
