Ora Alice Hedgespeth Jeffries, 85, Green County, KY Ora Alice Hedgespeth Jeffries, daughter of the late Mr. Ben Hedgespeth and Lois Huffman Hedgespeth, was born on Tuesday, April 21, 1936 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Facility in Hodgenville, Kentucky. She was 85 years, five months, and 22 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church. She was also a Homemaker and babysitter for most every child in the family and the community. She united in marriage to Mitchell R. Jeffries on October 30, 1954, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2016. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Larry & Bonita Jeffries of Green County; two granddaughters & grandsons-in-law, Lora Jo & Gary Bertram of Campbellsville and Tina & Johnathan Jones of Greensburg; four great-grandchildren, Jade Wallace of Campbellsville, Raelei Wallace, William Jones and Jackson Jones, all of Greensburg; a brother-in-law, Jimmy Jameson of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three children: Connie Sue Jeffries, Bonnie Lou Jeffries, and Michael Jeffries; four siblings: Geneva Reynolds, Radeana Judd, Ruth Hatcher, and Pat Jameson. The funeral services will be conducted at 12noonCT Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Union Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Handley Milby, Bro. Tom Downey, and Bro. Mike Butler, will be officiating. Active Pallbearers: John Jones William Jones Jackson Jones, Gary Bertram David Smith Barry Arnett.
