Rhonda Lee Turner, 71, Cave City, KY (1949-2021)

Rhonda Lee (Cole) Turner of Cave City, formerly of Columbia, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home. She was 71 years old.

A private graveside service will be in the Cave City Cemetery.

She was born December 8, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late L. C. and Zella Akin Cole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Joe Turner.

Rhonda was a 1968 graduate of Adair County High School and retired from Caverna Independent Schools. After retirement, she became Principal of Glasgow Christian Academy.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband -Joe Turner of Cave City
  • Three daughters - Dawn Turner and her husband Scotty Hagan of Gallatin, Tennessee, Elizabeth Turner of Lexington, Catherine Turner of St. Paul, Minnesota
  • One grandchild - Skyler Mosby
  • Two step-grandchildren - Grace and Ella Hagan
  • One sister - Patty (Richard) Martin of Glasgow
  • One brother - Kevin Cole of Columbia
  • Several other relatives and friends
Memorial are suggested to Glasgow Christian Academy, 307 Columbia Avenue, Glasgow, KY 42141.
