Farm Truck with round hay bales on fire By Chris Taylor, Chief, Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of round hay bales on fire on a farm truck and trailer Saturday at the 210/55/68 Intersection. Upon arrival firefighters found 19 round bales on fire. Crews deployed an attack line and was able to protect the truck and trailer. A second alarm was initiated for Automatic Aid from TCFD for tanker support for additional water supply. Taylor County Road Department and State Highway Department was requested for heavy equipment to remove the bales so they could be completely extinguished. No firefighters or civilian injuries were reported. 20 Firefighters on scene. This story was posted on 2021-10-03 19:08:45
