William Addis Abrell, 73, Adair Co., KY (1948-2021) William Addis Abrell of the Millerfield Community of Adair County, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Taylor County Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was 73 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pmCT on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Dallas Luttrell officiating. Interment will follow in Tarter Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10amCT on Sunday at Bernard Funeral Home, until time for funeral services. William was born in Columbia, on May 24, 1948, to the late Ottis and Maxine Abrell. He was retired from the Columbia Equipment Garage with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet after 27 years of service. William was a member of the Millerfield's Brethren in Christ Church. He enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottis and Maxine Abrell; two brothers, J.T. Abrell and Larry Abrell; two sisters, Ora Lee Collins and Imogene McQueary; one daughter, Regina Ann Abrell; and one granddaughter, Emily Ann Abrell. William is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty I. Abrell; one daughter, Rhonda (and Steve) Beams, of Campbellsville; one son, Ryan Abrell, of Russell Springs; one brother, Charlie (and Geneal) Abrell, of Columbia; one sister, Barbara Wilson, of Russell Springs; his six grandchildren, Ashley (and Rodney) Burton, Daniel Beams, Brenna (and Andy) Lenz, Ben Abrell, Gracey Abrell and Addy Abrell; and six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Easton, Audra, Macy, Asher and Evelyn. Pallbearers will be Charles Grider, Ralph Grider, Steve Beams, David Abrell, Nick Abrell and Ben Abrell. William's arrangements are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.
