Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments September 22 On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, the Adair County Circuit Court Grand Jury met and handed down indictments against 16 individuals from Columbia, Russell Springs, Campbellsville, Tompkinsville, Williamsburg, Jamestown, Burkesville, Springfield, and Breeding, KY, Indianapolis, IN, and Lakewood, CA, on charges including possession, DUI, wanton endangerment, strangulation, assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, tampering with physical evidence, flight, criminal mischief, speeding, reckless driving, unlawful imprisonment, menacing and theft. NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
