Steven E. Mason, 56, Campbellsville, KY (1965-2021)

Steven E. Mason of Campbellsville passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was 56 years old.

A memorial service will be held at 7pmET on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Joel Patton.

Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 7pmET on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.


Steven E. Mason, son of Rosemary Mitchuson Beverly and the late Leslie Marvin Mason, was born June 11, 1965 in Fayette County, Kentucky.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. He had also served as a missionary in Japan for two years.

Steven was Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Gateway Rack Corporation. He was also former President of the Campbellsville Country Club.

He united in marriage to Kim Hayes May 11, 1991.

Steven enjoyed golf, traveling, good food, UK football and going to Keeneland. He cherished family time and his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Kim Mason of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Hayes Mason of Campbellsville, Morgan Mason Miniard and husband, Tim of Russell Springs and Madeline Mason of Lexington; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Grace Miniard and John Disney Miniard; his mother and step-father, Rosemary Mitchuson Beverly and William Beverly of Lexington; two brothers and one sister: Lt. Col. Robert A. Mason and wife, Meridth and Leslie Mason Chambers of Lexington and Jeffery Scott Mason of Cincinnati; his mother-in-law, Jan Hayes of Campbellsville; his grand-dog, Luna; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Steven was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Johnnie Hayes October 22, 1991.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to the Midway College Golf Team, Tunnels to Towers for First Responders, the Fisher House or Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
