Mazetta Frances Wright, 77, Green County, KY (1944-2021) Mazetta Frances Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of William Thomas Edward Davenport and Frances Lee Trowbridge Davenport, was born on Thursday, July 13, 1944 in Green County and departed this life Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at T. J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 77 years, two months, and eight days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She a retired machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc., worked for Kid's Camp Daycare, Family Home Health Agency, and was a foster parent. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Teresa and David Davis of Donansburg; two sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas Neil and Sherry Wright, and Rodney "Buster" and Regina Wright all of Russell Springs; five grandchildren: Joshua Thomas Davis and his companion, Sara Bryant of Greensburg, Jordan Thomas Wright of Russell Springs, Erica Nicole Davis and her boyfriend, Lucas Tungate of Donansburg, Jason Pierce of Albany, and Laura Beth and Coty McGowan of Russell Springs; eight great-grandchildren: Joshua, Jaynell, Wyatt, and Oliver Davis, Brycen, Brooklyn, and Kayden Pierce, and Hunter McGowan; a half-brother: Randy Jones of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Wilburn Bonta, Bro. Cliffton Sullivan, and Bro. Jim Collison officiating. Visitation is requested after 10 Saturday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. PALLBEARERS: William "Fats" Coffey, Freddie Robertson, Dennis Whitlow, Thomas Curry, Mike Davis, Mark Bonta, James Bonta.
