Football: LWC remains at #1 for 3rd straight week By Kyle Jackson The Lindsey Wilson football team (2-0, 0-0 MSC Bluegrass Division) remained at the top of the rankings for the third straight week in the second edition of the NAIA Football FirstDown PlayBook Top-25 poll, officials at the national office announced on Monday. The Blue Raiders received 418 voting points in the poll and 17 of 18 first-place votes. Northwestern (IA) remains just behind the Blue Raiders in second with 400 voting points. Morningside (IA) tallied 388 points and the final first-place vote for third place in the rankings with Grandview (IA) staying in fourth with 370 points. Concordia (MI) remained fifth with 354 voting points. Lindsey Wilson is one of five other Mid-South Conference schools to be ranked with Reinhardt (GA) jumping to sixth with 331 voting points. Keiser sits in seventh with 314 voting points while Georgetown (KY) moves to ninth with 292 voting points. Faulkner (AL) moved to the final spot in the rankings at 25th with 38 points while Cumberlands (KY) remains in the receiving votes section of the poll.
