LWC Cross Country ready for season opener By Kyle Jackson The Lindsey Wilson men and women's cross country programs start their season today with the Drakes Creek Scramble. The women's event is scheduled to start at 4:45pmCT with the men following right after at 5:30pmCT. The race will be located in Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the second year running. A 174-acre park, Phil Moore Park is the largest park in the Warren County area. This is the second time the two programs will start the season with the Drakes Creek Scramble as both programs competed in the event last season. The men's team took first place last season with five runners finishing the event in the top-10.
