LWC Baseball welcomes Logan Dalton as Assistant Coach By Christopher Coombs Logan Dalton has been hired as the Lindsey Wilson baseball assistant coach, head coach Ethan Utley announced on Friday. "I am excited we were able to hire Logan to the Lindsey Wilson baseball coaching staff," Utley said. "Logan brings a wealth of knowledge of the game after working at nearly every level of collegiate baseball and having played for the likes of Bill Berry at Tennessee Wesleyan University and Mark Purvis of Mt. Juliet High School." Dalton has spent seven years coaching baseball with five different stints at differing collegiate baseball programs. Most recently he served as the recruiting director and head baseball coach at Zoned Sports Academy in Bridgewater, New Jersey. "I am excited to be a part of the Blue Raider family and ever more excited for the opportunity to serve LWC baseball student-athletes in any way that I can," Dalton said. "I can't thank coach Utley enough for the opportunity and having known him for a while, I know he is a first-class coach. I am excited to get to work and for the future of this program." Dalton has been the head coach at Powell High School as well as an assistant coach with Monmouth University, Roane State Community College and Volunteer State Community College. He earned his bachelor's degree from Tennessee Wesleyan University in 2014 and later completed his master's degree at Campbellsville University in 2020. Dalton will serve as the Lindsey Wilson hitting coach and head of recruiting operations. This story was posted on 2021-09-03 13:11:57
