LWC Women's Golf receives #17 Ranking in NAIA Top 25 Poll

The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team checks in at No. 17 with 137 points in the first NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll of the season, NAIA officials announced on Friday.


Keiser accumulated 280 points and nine first-place votes to land at the top of the poll. Dalton State lands in second with 271 points and two first-place votes. Southeastern received 260 points for a place at third. Oklahoma City comes in at fourth with 256 points. SCAD Savannah rounds out the top 5 with 242 points.

Three other Mid-South Conference teams are included in the top 25. Campbellsville University sits ahead of Lindsey Wilson at No. 15 with 154 points. Cumberlands in KY checks in behind the Blue Raiders at No. 20 with 104 points. Cumberland in TN received 62 points, landing at No. 24.

The Blue Raiders season tees-off on Sept. 10 during the Players Club Invitational in Yorktown, IN.
