LWC Men's Golf selected to Finish 2nd in MSC preseason poll

The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team is favored to finish second in the Mid-South Conference men's golf conference title, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The Blue Raiders earned 90 points in the poll and four of the 11 first-place votes. Cumberland (TN) were selected as favorites to win the conference title, landing 96 voting points and seven first-place votes.


Campbellsville University is third with 84 points while Cumberlands (KY) is fourth with 65 voting points.

Tennessee Southern sits in fifth 48 points. Freed-Hardeman (TN) is sixth with 46 votes. Thomas More (KY) sits at seventh with 39 votes.

Pikeville (KY) and Shawnee State (OH) are tied at eighth with 38 votes apiece.

Georgetown (KY) and Bethel (TN) round out the poll with 33 and 28 points, respectively.

Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
