Adair Co. School Board meeting, Thu 19 Aug 2021

The Adair County Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6pmCT on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in the Board Conference Room at the Adair County Board of Education, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY.

The board meeting will be held with masks and social distancing in place.

  • 9. APPROVAL of the Office of Rehabilitation-Community Work Transition Program contract for the 2021/2022 school year.

  • 10. Discussion/Approval of Pay App #7 for Jenkins-Essex Construction for the softball/baseball pressbox in the amount of $1,900.00

  • 11. Discussion/Approval of Pay App #10 for Jenkins-Essex Construction for the Adair County Primary Center Preschool Addition Project in the amount of $90,005.63.

  • 20. Approval of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TJ Health for HEAd Athletic Trainer/Sports for the 2021/2022 school year. (Renewal Agreement)

  • 21. Approval of Change Order #1 on DP06 for the Adair County Primary Center Preschool Project to Mcelroy Metals, Roof Supplier, a credit in the amount of $12,792.00

  • 22. Approval of Change Order #5 for Jenkins Essex on Adair County Primary Center Preschool Project in the amount of $12,792.00

  • 23. Approval of Change Order #6 to Jenkins Essex for Adair County Primary Preschool Project in the amount of $2,080.00 for a credit on paint.

  • 24. Approval to apply for any and all federal, state or private grant opportunities that would be advantageous to Adair County School District for the 2021/2022 school year

  • 25. Approval of Data Breach Notification Update - Jason Rector

  • 26. Annual Energy Management Report - John Shelley

  • 27. Approval of monthly financial statements - Renae Smith

  • 28. Buildings and grounds update - Steve Burton

  • 29. Approval to give Superintendent with consultation of board members the authority to make the decision when necessary changes are needed concerning face to face instruction for the 2021/2022 school year.
