Preseason Soccer Poll puts LWC Men at 12 and Women at 16

The Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team was ranked 12th in the preseason NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders received 296 points in the poll.

Lindsey Wilson men's soccer is one of two other Mid-South Conference teams named in the poll with Cumberlands (KY) placing sixth in the poll with 392 points and Bethel (Tenn.) placing 10th with 326 points.

The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team was ranked 16th in the preseason NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders received 265 points in the poll.

Lindsey Wilson women's soccer is one of three other Mid-South Conference teams named in the poll with Cumberlands (KY) placing eighth in the poll with 386 points. Cumberland (TN) take the number 20 slot with 194 points.

Lindsey Wilson women's soccer opens their 2021 season at home in Walter S. Reuling Stadium against No. 2 William Carey on August 27 at 7pmCT.
