LWC Softball 2021 Rewind

By Kyle Jackson

The Lindsey Wilson softball team put together a 39-11 overall record in their 2021 spring season, going 27-5 in the Mid-South Conference. The effort led the Blue Raiders all the way to the semifinals of the 2021 Mid-South Conference Tournament before seeing their conference season end with a loss to Campbellsville (Ky.).

Lindsey Wilson went on to make a 12th program appearance in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round playing host to Saint Xavier (IL), Madonna (MI), and Brenau (GA). The Blue Raiders got off to an excellent start taking care of Brenau 3-0 before facing back to back losses against Saint Xavier and opening round winners, Madonna putting an end to their season.
