Charlie Underwood, 93, Taylor Co., KY native (1928-2021) Charlie Underwood of Lebanon Junction, formerly of Campbellsville, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in Lebanon Junction. He was 93 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Eddie Finn. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from NoonET until 1pmET on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Charlie Underwood, son of the late Fred Underwood and Lela Skaggs Underwood, was born February 19, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He did not attend a church but he was a believer. He was a retired from the George M. Eady Company as a grader operator. Charlie united in marriage to Jane Underwood in 1950 and she preceded him in death April 26, 2013. Charlie is survived by one son, Dennis Underwood and Rhonda of Lebanon Junction; one grandson, Zachary Underwood; one sister-in-law, Cleo Underwood of Campbellsville: several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Underwood and two brothers and three sisters: Otis Underwood, Blond Underwood, Dorothy Glidewell, Pauline Lemmon and Essie Perkins.
