Truck It Up event scheduled for August 6th

The second annual Truck It Up is scheduled in downtown Columbia on Friday, August 6, 2021 in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce retail promotion, To The Nines, where the businesses stay open for late shopping.

Several activities are planned throughout the day.

The second annual Paint The Town will be judged that evening. Businesses, organizations, and individuals can do a sidewalk chalk drawing on August 3 and 4.



To sign up, call city hall at 270-384-2501. The sidewalk areas will be numbered and you will be given a section.

There will be a school supply giveaway. The City is accepting donations of pens, pencils, toothbrushes, crayons, etc. Contact Ann Marie at city hall for donations, 270-384-2501.

An art contest will be held for children from 5-8pm.
