Ina Allen Vaught, 92, Liberty, KY (1928-2021)

Ina Allen Vaught of Liberty passed away on Monday July 5, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 92 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11amET on Friday July 9, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6pmET until 9pmET on Thursday July 8, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.


She was born November 22nd, 1928, in Liberty, KY, a daughter of the late John Calvin and Mayme Vanoy Allen.

Ina was united in marriage to Eugene Vaught on January 17th, 1950.

Ina was the Co-Owner of Women's World, longtime employee of Jim Dandy Market, Loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and a wonderful love for her family. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and working in her flowers, was a good cook and was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include: One Son: Darrell and (Wendy) Vaught of Westmoreland, TN, One Daughter: Barbara and the late Gale Scott, Six Grandchildren: Nicholas and (Laura) Scott, Adam and (Audrianna) Scott, Bethany and (Jamie) Watson, Megan Vaught, Gordon Vaught and (Camryn Weisenberger) and Jessica Vaught, Eleven Great Grandchildren, One Sister: Jewell Lynn of Liberty, Two Brothers: Quentin and (Jewell) Allen and Donald and (Sandy) Allen both of Hustonville and Sister-in-law: Edna Allen of Liberty.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Brothers: Charles and Lowell Allen.
