Richard Cornelius Preve, 87, Edmonton, KY (1934-2021) Richard Cornelius Preve of Edmonton passed away on June 29, 2021, at T J Samson Hospital. He was 87 years old. Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Born in Penacook, New Hampshire he was a son of the late Joseph and Nina Young Preve. He worked as a manager of furniture stores and belonged to Grace Union Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Ciceroni Preve, one daughter Gloria (Jimmy) Lowe of Edmonton: three sons, Ricky (Shirley) Preve of New Hampshire, Edward (Teresa) Preve of Georgia and Michael Jodoin of Florida; nine grandchildren Jeanine, Christopher, Samuel and James Preve, Rebekah (Nathan) Byrd, Jonathan (Lindsey) Lawhon, Michael Misko and Daniel and Brandon Colt Jodoin as well as several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by three sisters and one brother. McMurtrey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
