Kenneth Conrad, 76, Adair County, KY native (1945-2021)

Kenneth Conrad, 76, grew up in Adair County, KY and passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at age 76, at his home surrounded by his family. He grew up in Adair county, graduated from Adair County High School and attended Lindsey Wilson College, then Campbellsville College.

His late parents, Nelson and Georgia Young Conrad, lived their lives in Adair County. He was born on March 25, 1945.



Kenneth was retired from Hitachi as Operations Manager and was a member of Madison Hills Christian Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Janice Bledsoe (Gary) Conrad; children, Brandon Conrad (Tiffany), of Lexington, Nathan Conrad (Allison), of Georgetown; Alison Fraley (Ricky), of Richmond; Tyler Short (Erin), of Lexington; Erin Leach (William), of Irvine; and Ashley Sawyer (Patrick), of Richmond; one sister, Joyce Wilson (Gary); and twelve grandchildren with one on the way.

A funeral service will be held at 11amET on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Madison Hills Christian Church with Ben Stroup and Marty Frazer officiating. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-9pmET on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Ed Wilson, Ron Chapman, Wendell Daniel, Shannon Durett, James Burks, and Kelly Chapman. Honorary bearers will be: Steve Combs, Bill Ashley, Brian Elam, Randy Ash, Curt Eiden, Craig Halstead, Shane VanWinkle, Dave Lehman, David Compton, Mike Ashley, David Underwood, Shane Broadous, Al Taylor, Kevin Dalton, Nehri Quazimi, Gary Wilson, Angie Tillery, Caroline Eades, Jackie Anglin, Jackie Roberts, Gavin Durett, Mason Durett, and Mike Cooper.
