Denelda Clairlene Leigh, 81, Liberty, KY (1940-2021) Denelda Clairlene Leigh of Liberty passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home. She was 81 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from NoonET to 2pmET on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on April 23, 1940, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Arza and Sylvia Phillips Caudill. Clairlene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved caring for children and her family. She devoted her life to the Lord to witness to others. Clairlene was a fun person with a sense of humor. She was a strong military wife. Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Marshall Leigh, who she wed on April 20, 1957; a son, Timothy Marshall (Patricia) Leigh of Cleveland, TN; a daughter, Deana Dial (Randall Lane) of Liberty; three grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua, and April; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Natalia, Madelyn, and Maddux; and two brothers, Marshall (Helen) Caudill of Liberty and David (Elizabeth) Caudill of Stanford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Juanita Thompson, Genive Lane, and Norma Cain; and four brothers, Dean Caudill, Larry Caudill, Eugene Caudill, and Bob Caudill. The family of Ms. Clairlene Leigh wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of Lake Cumberland for their loving care and asks that memorial contributions take the form of donations to them.
