William Douglas Anderson, 75, Russell County, KY William Douglas Anderson, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at his home. He was 75 years of age. Born on June 17, 1946, in the Jabez Community of Russell County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William Arthur and Bessie Murl Polston Anderson. William was a former factory worker for Freightliner, as well as Superior Battery and Tarter Gate. He enjoyed mowing yards, fishing, and spending time with his family. William was a member of Mt. Hope Separate Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Judy Johnson Anderson of Russell Springs; one son, Keith (and Susan) Anderson of Russell Springs; and two daughters, Janet (and Mike) Brant of Russell Springs and Amy (and Jeff) Helton of Jamestown. William is also survived by two sisters, Pam (and Charlie) Jones of Morristown, Tennessee and Patsy Jones of Dryden, Virginia; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Hunter Bowen. Funeral services are 12noonCT Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Randy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.
