CPD: Man arrested for possession of methamphetamine

Columbia Police Department

The Columbia Police Department responded to FiveStar on Burksville Street near Walmart early Tuesday morning, June 1, 2021, for a suspicious male. Upon arrival contact was made with male party inside his vehicle. Officers observed male behaving nervously and erratically.

After searching male, he was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and methamphetamine. Further search of the vehicle yielded findings of more suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.


Lon Berryhill, 42, of Bonneterre, MO, has been charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.

Officer Josh Durbin was the arresting officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Justin Cross.
