Farewell to the West, Heading Back To Kentucky Click headline for photos from this day of Robert and William's trip out west. By Robert Ellis Robert Ellis Woodworking This was our last vacation day out West. Since we had plenty of time before our late night departure, we headed out to this canyon/mountain range. It is only about 25 miles from Las Vegas and is a very beautiful place to visit. Apparently is is a favorite spot for climbers, and if you look closely enough you can see some rappelling on the cliff faces, and people traversing the trail at the base. This Canyon can be traveled through by vehicle since it has a nice paved road that circles through the park. All photos from this trip:
