Stormy weather to start the week, high 79F It's currently 64F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Thunderstorms with brief heavy rainfall are expected this morning, and we'll see a high near 79F today. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Tonight will bring more showers and the continued chance of thunderstorms, with an overnight low around 65F. South wind 7 to 9 mph. On Tuesday, we'll see a high of 79F, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation, and continued risk of strong to severe storms. South wind 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tuesday night will bring more rain, and the continued chance of thunderstorms as a cold front moves through the area. The overnight low will be around 52F, with southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.
