LWC Women's Tennis picks up five All-MSC honors By Kyle Jackson Lucia Mora, Alexandra Parra, and Parisa Rachdanone were all named to the conference's first team while Salome Sposetti picked up second-team honors. Reshma Challarapu was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention. The four all-conference honors push the program total to 77 All-MSC selections in the history of the program with Mora picking up the third conference honor of her career. Mora and Parra were a dynamic force on the court this season, going 14-2 in doubles play, winning the last seven doubles matches they played. They both also kept a winning record in singles play, with Mora going 15-1 and Parra at 9-2 this season. Rachdanone did well in singles play this season, going 12-4 and winning her last five matches while going in 3-0 in doubles play with Sposetti. Sposetti was also sensational in singles play this year, going 15-2 winning her last seven matches. Challarapu did well in her freshman season going 12-4 in singles play. Cumberlands' (Ky.) swept the individual awards with Tomomi Nagao being named the MSC Men's Women's Tennis Player of the Year, Laurie Marie earned MSC Freshman of the Year Honors and Chin Tan was named MSC Women's Tennis Coach of the Year. 10 players earned first-team honors with another 10 student-athletes earning a spot on to the second team. Six student-athletes earned Honorable Mention status as well. Conference coaches vote on the seasonal awards along with the all-conference teams.
