Lou Ella Parrish, 83, Burkesville, KY (1937-2021) Lou Ella Parrish of Burkesville passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, at Cumberland County Hospital. She was 83 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with burial to follow in Burkesville Black Baptist Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 11amCT until the service time at 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Lou was born on September 15, 1937 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Elmore Rowe and Martha Susan Baker Rowe. She was married to the late Robert Parrish. Lou Ella was a former employee of Bob Evans and Cumberland County Florist for several years. Her real passion was serving the Lord abundantly, making crafts with flowers, and spending time with her family, especially her two lovely sisters, Barbara Anders and Edna Rowe Newell. She and her sisters were best friends as well as sisters. They were inseparable. She leaves to mourn her passing several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
