Tommy Kinnett, 70, Russell County, KY (1950-2021) Tommy J. Kinnett, of Jamestown, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at his home. He was 70 years of age. Born on June 5, 1950, in Somerset, Kentucky, he was a son of the late James Homer "Smokey" and Betty Cooper Kinnett. Tommy was an US Navy veteran, a retired controller for UTP Materials in Houston, Texas, and owner/operator of a local trailer park. Tommy loved walking his dog, Luna, and traveling across the state visiting flea markets. He enjoyed collecting pictures and framed art and reading. Tommy was a giver and loved his family. Survivors include two brothers, Jock (and Linda) Kinnett of Lexington and Mark (and Danielle) Kinnett of Jamestown; one nephew, Micah (and Elena) Kinnett of Frankfort; and three nieces, Katelyn Kinnett of Jamestown, Stephanie Kinnett of Jamestown, and Sarah (and Matt) Wall of Lexington. Funeral services are 2pmCT on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Glenn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Jamestown City Cemetery. Visitation from 12-2pm Saturday. Matt Wall, Victor Cooper, H.K. Cooper, Ronnie Cooper, Don Cooper, and Brian Bunch will serve as Tommy's pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 2167, Lexington, KY 40588. Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
