Christine Gosser, 78, Liberty, KY (1942-2021)

Christine Gosser of Liberty passed away on Saturday April 3, 2021 at the U.K. Medical Center. She was 78 years old.

Funeral services will be held at NoonET on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Brent Huggins and Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 6pmET until 8pmET on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, and will continue after 9amET on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Due to State Mandate: Masks will be required for the funeral and visitation. For the health and respect of the family please follow all rules for social distancing.


She was born in Liberty, KY on April 20th, 1942 a daughter of the late Edgar Franklin Wyatt and Elsie Marie Wilkinson Wyatt.

Christine was the widow of Harold Lloyd Gosser who passed away on September 21st, 1998.

Christine was a Retired nurse and loving matriarch, she was a former employee of Sweeney and Wesley Family Practice Clinic and the Ephraim McDowell Medical Clinic.

Survivors include: Two Sons: Jeffrey and (Holly) Gosser of Mt. Washington, KY and Bradley Gosser and (Brittany Bell) of Lexington, Four Grandchildren: Charissa and (Corey) Edwards, Cheyenne Gosser and (Jason Luttrell), Jacob Cornell and (Olivia Graham) and Madison Cornell, Four Great Grandchildren: Aubrey, Audrey, Brooklyn and Jordyn Edwards, One Brother: Garnett Wyatt and (Judy Delk) of Hustonville, Peggy and (Dallas) Russell of Liberty, Sue Murphy of Somerset and Kathy and (Stan) Fogle of Liberty, One Brother in law: Jimmy Stykes of Somerset and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Daughter: Leslie Kaye Gosser, One Brother: Larry Dale Wyatt and Two Sisters: Patricia Ann Wyatt and Sharon Kaye Stykes.
