James 'Jamie' Coffey, 45, Taylor County, KY (1975-2021) James “Jamie” Coffey of Campbellsville, son of the late James Alfred Coffey and Brenda Sue Tucker Read, was born on Friday, October 10, 1975 in Taylor County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. He was 45 years, 5 months, and 20 days of age. Survivors include two children: Tae Simpson of Campbellsville, and Daelan Simpson of Lexington; aunts and uncles: Doyce & Elaine Tucker, Ronald & Margaret Tucker, Mark & Diane Tucker all of Green County, and Keith & Vickie Tucker of Campbellsville, Reta & Tommy Davis, Diana & Lewis Poynter both of Green County; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Jamie was also preceded in death by a brother: Joshua Lee Read on October 19, 2019. The funeral services for James “Jamie” Coffey will be conducted at 2pmCT, Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Bro. Cary Dunbar officiating. Visitation is requested after 11. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
