Mary Ann Murphy Russell, 79, Casey County, KY (1942-2021) Mary Ann Murphy Russell, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was 79. Born on February 18, 1942, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Carmen Mason Murphy. Mary Ann was a retired Deputy Circuit Court Clerk. She was a member of Hilltop Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed her flowers. Survivors include her husband, Les Russell of Liberty; a daughter, Kendra (and Junior) Weddle of Liberty; a son, Roger (and Teresa) Thompson of Windsor; a step-son, Thomas Russell of Campbellsville; and two sisters, Dorothy Marie Watson of Milan, Indiana and Ina Faye (and Ronald) Eads of Franklin, Indiana. Other survivors are her four grandchildren, Cody (and Miranda) Weddle, Ashton (and Jeremy) Stearns, Casey (and Brittany) Weddle, and Wesley (and Allison) Thompson; five great-grandchildren, Addalie, Emmalie, Carman, William Jasper, and Weston; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special great-nephew, Dustin McAfee. The funeral service will be held at 10amET on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Hawkins and Bro. Jeff Thompson officiating.
