Minnie Pearl Dunbar, 90, Adair Co., KY native (1930-2021)

Pearl M. Dunbar of Jamestown passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY. She was 90 years old.

A graveside service will be held at 2pmCT on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Jamestown Cemetery, with Bro. Scott Russell officiating. Interment will follow.

A walk through visitation will be held on Friday from 1pmCT to 2pmCT at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY. We ask that everyone attending please wear a face covering and follow Covid rules.

Pearl was born in Adair Co., on May 20, 1930, a daughter of the late Mabel (Stargel) and John Rector.

She was a homemaker and member of Jamestown First Baptist Church.

Pearl is survived by:
  • A son, James Dunbar, and his wife Rebecca, of Fisherville, KY;
  • Two sisters, Willie Pierce, of Indianapolis, IN, and Ruby Cundiff, of KY.
  • Three grandchildren
  • Six great grandchildren
The family requests memorial donations to the Jamestown First Baptist Church. Donations can be made at the funeral home or you can mail to Jamestown First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 308, Jamestown, KY 42629.
