Retha Mae Eads, 91, Windsor, KY (1929-2021)

Retha Mae Eads of Windsor passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Russell County Hospital. She was 91 years old.

Funeral services will be held at noonCT on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Interment will follow in South Fork Cemetery, 793 South Fork Church Road, Liberty, KY.

Visitation will be held at 10amCT on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Wilson Funeral Home.



She was born on Sunday, September 1, 1929, in Casey County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Emma Baldock Luttrell and the late Oliver Taft Luttrell.

Survivors include:
  • A daughter, Phyllis West, spouse Garlen, of Russell Springs KY
  • A son, Jerry Eads, of Windsor KY
  • A sister, Rebia Brockman, of Windsor KY
  • A brother, Shinnie Luttrell, of Windsor KY
  • Grandchildren Chris Dick, Kevin Pevely, Dustin Pevely, T.J. Tucker, Brenda Saylers, Bobbie Jo Saylers, Nellie Childress, Chris Green and Amanda Eads
  • A host of great-grand kids and great-great grand kids
  • Special friends Polly and John Rathbun
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Hobert Eads, three children, Bobby and Roger Eads and Janice Pevely, three sisters, Redia Crew, Loretta Yancy and Lois Gore, two brothers, Neal Luttrell and Dayton Luttrell, seven grand children, Randy Dick, Mitchel Eads, Stevie Pevely, Devin Pevely, Glenda Lane, Christy Pevely and Rodney Eads.

She was a long time employee of Russell Sportswear and long time member of Jennies Chapel United Methodist Church.
