LWC Baseball on the road against No. 11 IU Southeast By Brady Budke Looking to bounce back after yesterday's loss, the Lindsey Wilson baseball team is set to hit the road this afternoon to battle No. 11 IU Southeast at the Koetter Sports Complex in New Albany, Indiana. First pitch is set for 4pmCT. Live video and live stats will be available for this game. According to the IU Southeast Spring Sport Spectator Policy, no visiting fans will be permitted. Please view these policies for more information. The Grenadiers won the earlier meeting this season, dropping the Blue Raiders by a final of 15-9 at Egnew Park on March 3. IU Southeast (9-11) enters this afternoon winners of four out of the last five. The team is led from the plate by Brody Tanksley, who has notched a team-high 26 hits. Clay Woeste brings speed to the lineup, as his 13 stolen bases this season ranks him ninth in the NAIA. From the mound, Jared Jones leads the way with 21 complete innings of work and 21 strikeouts. Lindsey Wilson (6-8) fell last night at Egnew Park to No. 21 Bryan (Tenn.) by a final of 6-1. This season, Derek Zavala has corralled the most hits (23) and stolen bases (11) for his team while tying with Henry Paulino for the most RBIs (12). The Blue Raiders currently rank second in the Mid-South Conference in runs batted in per game (5.9) but rank second to last in the conference in earned run average (6.4).
