Diane (Tootie) Furkin, 63, Dunnville, KY (1957-2021) Diane "Tootie" Furkin, of Dunnville, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 63 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Robert Atwood officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11amET to 1pmET on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required. Born on June 15, 1957, in Adair County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Paul Marshall and Opal Knight Furkin. Diane was a housewife. She enjoyed trap shooting, shopping, shooting pool, and watching soap operas. She is survived by her life partner, Ricky Lawson of Dunnville; two daughters, Robin Absher of Louisville and Tasha Royston of Dunnville; three grandsons, Christopher, Brian, and Adam; and a great-granddaughter, Aubrii. Other survivors include a sister, Wendy (and Steve) Bernard of Liberty; a brother, Billy Furkin; and mother and father-in-law, Henry and Louise Lawson of Dunnville. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Paula Kolody. Pallbearers will be Steve Bernard, Stephen Furkin, Johnny Rodgers, Randy Lawson, Clarence Ford, and Brian Page.
