LWC Volleyball claims No. 15 spot in Coaches Poll

The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team has earned the No. 15 ranking in the first NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, officials announced Wednesday.

Lindsey Wilson is the lone Mid-South Conference member to make an appearance in the poll.

The Blue Raiders are set to open the 2021 portion of the season on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in an MSC battle with Freed-Hardeman (TN) at Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY, beginning at 7pmCT.



The Blue Raiders earned 320 points, falling just behind No. 14 Dordt (IA) who corralled 331 points. LWC sits in front of Oklahoma City, who notched 316 points at No. 16.

Jamestown (ND) and Park (MO) share the No. 1 spot with 571 points, with Park earning nine first-place votes and Jamestown grabbing six. Indiana Wesleyan (549 points and three first-place votes) and Westmont (CA) (529 points and three first-place votes) sit at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Missouri Baptist rounds out the top-five with 510 points.
