The duo of Reagan Turner and Bree Glover continue to elevate LWC this season. Turner leads the team with a 22 points per game average, recently garnering 23 points in the loss Saturday to the Saints. Glover has corralled five-straight double-digit rebounding games, pulling home 14 boards in the last outing. Martin Methodist (3-6, 2-6 MSC) has hit a cold stretch in the schedule, falling victim to defeat in three straight games. The team recently lost on Saturday to Pikeville (KY) by a final of 84-77 in overtime. Faith Sherrow leads the RedHawks in scoring, recently producing 24 points in the loss to the Bears. Laurhen Pickett garnered a double-double on Saturday, tallying 20 points and 14 rebounds. MMC looks to ride the momentum Sherrow and Pickett provided Saturday, as the team currently has the second lowest scoring offense in the Mid-South Conference (64 PPG).
