City of Columbia flag sponsorships announced

Update June 29, 2021: City of Columbia flag sponsorships (updated)

The City of Columbia recently held a drive for local residents to sponsor flags in recognition of local veterans in our community.

If you would like to honor someone, please call City Hall at 270-384-2501. The cost of the flag, bracket, and holder is $30.00, and the first 50 names will be taken. The flags are being ordered for spring. If you would like a flag they must be ordered by February 28, 2021.

The list of current sponsors is as follows:


  • A flag honoring Edgar Troutman, who served in the U.S. Army, has been sponsored by Patti Troutman

  • A flag honoring Ricky Conner, who served in the U.S. Army, has been sponsored by Carol Conner
