Barbara Richardson, 70, Greensburg, KY (1950-2021)

Barbara Jean Ingram Richardson passed away on January 10, 2021. She was 70 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY. The funeral will also be posted on Facebook Live at 1pmET. Burial will follow in Bridgewater Groves Caldwell Cemetery.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 11amET until 1pmET on Friday, January 15, 2021.



Barbara Jean Ingram Richardson was born on May 31, 1950 in Greensburg, Kentucky to the late Jerry Allen and Katherine Taylor Ingram. Barbara professed in Christ at a very early age and united Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, Kentucky where she was the Missionary Treasurer and remained a member until her departure.

Barbara Jean and Willie Joe Richardson was joined together in marriage on November 23, 1969 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. They were married for 50 years. Barbara graduated from Green County High School and went on to pursue her degree in cosmetology at a Beauty School in Ohio. She continued her certification at Central High School where she received her degree in Cosmetology. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend.

Barbara transitioned to her new home in Heaven on January 10, 2021 at 8:00AM at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 70 years, 7 months, 10 days old. She was the seventh out of thirteen children. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jerry Allen and Katherine Ingram; loving sisters, Arlene Douglas, Jane Anderson, Mary Adams, Ella White; and loving brother, Sylvester Ingram.

Barbara is survived by four children: De Anna Richardson of Lexington, Kentucky, Marcus Richardson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, Kimberly Richardson of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Justin Richardson of Campbellsville, Kentucky; nine grandchildren: Devin Richardson, Micah Richardson, Tristen Bright, Tucker Richardson, Ki'en Bright, Riley Richardson, Sammy Ismael, Major Richardson, and Reign Richardson; seven brothers and sisters: Michael Ingram (Shirlene), Linda Sue White, Jo Ann Ingram, Jerry Ingram (Carolyn), Janet Johnson, Peggy Taylor, and Cathy Richardson (Darrell) and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
